Acceptable Use Policy
SeaDance, operated by GAAI, provides AI-generated short videos using Seedance 2.0 Mini. It is independent of ByteDance and other model providers. Last updated: November 2, 2026.
Prohibited content
- Pornography / NSFW: no nudity, sexually explicit or erotic content.
- Violence / gore: no graphic injury, torture, or promotion of violence.
- Hate speech: no attacks or dehumanization targeting protected groups.
- Child safety / CSAM: no sexualization, exploitation, or unsafe depictions of minors, including synthetic content.
- Deepfakes / impersonation: no face swaps, nudify, fabricated real-person statements or actions, or compositing real people into intimate scenes. Consent does not make these features permitted.
- Copyright / trademark infringement: no unauthorized use of protected media, characters, brands, or misleading claims of endorsement.
Moderation
Before real generation, prompts are screened through Waffo Prompt Sift. Only an allow decision proceeds. Blocked prompts do not generate; unavailable or review decisions are held without generation or credit debit. Videos are held for manual safety review before their URL is delivered. Reviewers check the categories above, including imagery and audio. Rejected outputs are withheld and charged credits are returned. Provider filtering is an additional safeguard and does not replace our review.
Reporting, enforcement and appeals
Report abuse to support@seadance.dev with the job ID, URL if available, and reason. Do not send illegal material. We review reports, prioritize child-safety and immediate-harm concerns, and may warn users, withhold outputs, disable access to content we control, or suspend accounts through our authentication service. We cannot erase copies downloaded by others. We retain review decisions and investigate repeat abuse. Users may appeal by email with their job ID; a reviewer reassesses the decision and responds. We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days; this is not an emergency service.
Uploads and product scope
The MVP accepts text only. Image, audio and video reference generation, face swapping, motion control, image generation, and template recreation are not offered. Any future uploads must be your own material or used with permission; prohibited deepfake uses remain forbidden.
