What is AI Video Edit?
AI Video Editing is an option for exploring settings and credit estimates on SeaDance. It is not currently available for generation. Choose Seedance 2.0 Mini in Text to Video to create a video.
How is it different from Video to Video?
AI Video Edit needs an existing video plus a written instruction describing what to change. Video to Video needs a source video plus a prompt describing the new style or look to apply. Neither mode is available on SeaDance yet; Seedance 2.0 Mini text to video is the only mode that generates videos today.
Which models support AI Video Edit?
You can browse model settings through the links in the footer. Seedance 2.0 Mini in Text to Video mode is currently the only option that generates videos on SeaDance.
Can AI Video Edit keep the original audio?
SeaDance does not currently offer a choice of generated audio for Seedance 2.0 Mini videos. Sound settings shown for other video options do not indicate audio availability.
Will the rest of the clip stay the same?
Preservation of the rest of a clip is not promised: AI Video Edit is not currently available on SeaDance.
How is AI Video Edit billed?
AI Video Edit is unavailable for generation, so there is no video-edit generation charge to quote. The available Seedance 2.0 Mini mode charges credits for a new video from text.
