How much is Seedance 2.0?

The short answer

SeaDance charges 7 credits for a 5-second Seedance 2.0 video at 480p. At the Agency Pack purchase rate of $249.90 for 1,252 credits, that is approximately $1.40 of purchased credits. It is an allocation of a prepaid balance, not a separate $1.40 checkout option. New accounts start with 0 credits; you need a paid plan or credit pack before generating.

Video credit prices by duration

The three Seedance 2.0 variants are sold at 480p on SeaDance. Each request produces one 16:9 video lasting 5, 10 or 15 seconds. There is no 720p Seedance 2.0 price tier in the current SeaDance offering; 720p belongs to Kling 3.0 here. Do not read broader model specifications as additional purchasable settings.

The displayed charge is calculated for the whole clip and rounded up to an integer credit, rather than rounding a per-second credit number first. In formula form, credits = ceil(4 × rate × seconds / 0.1996). The rates used for this calculation are $0.067 per second for Seedance 2.0, $0.0585 for Fast and $0.03363 for Mini. Those calculation inputs are not the retail cash price per second.

Plans and credit packs

The following USD prices and credit grants match the SeaDance pricing page. Monthly plans are billed monthly, yearly plans are billed once per year, and packs are one-time purchases. The yearly figures below are the full annual charge and the credit grant shown for that purchase, not a monthly payment or monthly credit figure.

The pricing calculation uses $0.1996 as its credit conversion constant. The actual purchase rate is the amount paid divided by the integer credits received, so it differs slightly between purchases. Agency Pack has the lowest current rate at about $0.199601 per credit; Basic monthly is about $0.200671. There is no standalone credit purchase assumed in these estimates.

Worked examples in dollars

Using Agency Pack at $249.90 ÷ 1,252 credits, a 5-second Mini video uses 4 credits, about $0.80; a 5-second Fast video uses 6 credits, about $1.20; and a 5-second standard Seedance 2.0 video uses 7 credits, about $1.40. A 10-second standard video uses 14 credits, about $2.79, while a 15-second standard video uses 21 credits, about $4.19. Dollar estimates are rounded to cents after multiplying the clip credits by the pack rate.

For comparison, the same 7-credit standard clip represents about $1.40 from a Basic monthly balance ($29.90 ÷ 149 × 7), but that plan still requires the full $29.90 purchase. A 7-credit 10-second Mini clip and a 7-credit 5-second standard clip allocate the same amount of balance despite their different durations. Compare both the model and the length when planning a budget.

Do image inputs change these prices?

For these three Seedance 2.0 variants, Text to Video, Image to Video and Reference mode use the same duration rates and 480p output tier. Image to Video accepts 1–2 images, while Reference mode accepts 1–9 still images. There is no per-reference surcharge for these Seedance variants. Failures, backup generation and credit returns

A failed generation is refunded in full in credits. If a backup route successfully produces the request, the original quoted credits still apply; switching routes does not trigger a difference refund. A returned generation balance is not the same thing as a cash refund of a subscription or pack. For purchase questions, read the refund policy or contact support with the relevant order details.
